PIPE SUPPORT DESIGNER - AIBEL

Pipe Support Designer

Your responsibilities:

  • Perform pipe support design using PDMS 3D modelling, PDMS Draft tools and MicroStation draft
  • Have a cooperative working attitude and work close with both pipe stress engineers and piping designers
  • Be systematic, accurate and perform pipe support checking acc. to project standards
  • Be proactive, seeking advice/share and partisipate/present tasks in design reviews
  • Design to be acc. to NorSok knowledge and include loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Have good communications skills, communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
Education and work experience:
  • EPC new build experience
  • Perform independent pipe support studies
  • Batchlor or similar
  • Some offshore experience and / or fabrication experience preferred
The Candidate must have:
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have a cooperative working attitude
  • Be systematic, accurate and independent
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
  • Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
  • Communicate well in English - both oral and in writing
  • Conditions of employment will be Norway - but must work in Thailand in periods
  • Some offshore experience and / or fabrication experience preferred
