The Designer will be responsible for preparing layout and design the
complex underwater transmission piping systems.
- The main task is to design and create the full calculation plan for
the pipes of the client`s LNG project underwater transmission phase.
- Draft piping design Review and check data supplied by others to
verify data fits within the project design intent.
- Develop project design criteria documents.
- Draft technical details and specify dimensions, materials, and
procedures using drawings, rough sketches, specifications and calculations
using 3D AutoCad or other software
- Be familiar with total project systems to include mechanical,
structural, civil and electrical components to allow considerations of
those aspects into a project or area design.
- Develop or alter standard project specification to meet specific
project requirements.
- Analyze designs for efficiency of construction, use of materials,
structural integrity and practicality of design.
- Modelling in PDMS
- Producing documentation deliverables for inclusion in workpacks,
and or, design books on time to meet project deadlines for assigned
packages and scopes of work.
- Responsible for delivery as part of the project team for achieving
the target and completion of design documentation within the budget and
schedule; ensuring that all engineering work is carried out in accordance
with Asset priorities and schedules as set out in the project plan.
- Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry,
international and client codes and standards.
- Compliance with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and
Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.
